Until now, transducers were used in turbomolecular pumps for precise determination of rotor position. Compared to these, our new transducer-less controller offers numerous advantages:

For one, it enables rotor blade speeds of up to 1600 rotations per second. This enables generation of a high vacuum of up to 10-10 mbar. Further advantages of our solution are the reduction in installation volume and increase in robustness of the overall structure. Our software acquires data without sensors – solely using mathematical methods. The input current is also determined in the same manner. For optimal component protection, we have programmed our software to provide maximum performance at all times according to the calculated values.
